About 25-years ago, Lee County Engineer Dave Anderson decided to take a job with Lee County.
At the recent Lee County Board meeting, Anderson was presented with a plaque for 25-years of service to the county. Board Member Jack Skrogstad said he always amazed at what Anderson knows.
Anderson said 25-years ago he had a decision to make. He was working in Las Vegas and had the chance to go to Hawaii. About the same time, Anderson was offered the job in Lee County. He said his wife urged him to take the job in Lee County. He said to his wife, “But Hawaii!!”. His wife won the decision and he said you could blame his wife for him being here for 25-years.
