On Monday Night, August 11, Ogle County Deputies responded to the 7000 block of West Edgewood Road for a single vehicle crash.
After a brief investigation, Deputies determined that a Jeep Renegade, driven by 41-year-old Brandon M. Reynolds of Polo was traveling eastbound on Edgewood Road and lost control of the vehicle. The Jeep traveled into the south ditch, struck a guardrail, and rolled multiple times before coming to a rest upright.
Reynolds was transported to OSF St. Katherine’s Hospital with suspected life threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing. The Polo Fire Department and the Illinois State Police assisted deputies on the scene.
