Shortly after 4:00 AM, Sunday, July 20, Ogle County Deputies responded to the 3000 block of South Ridge Road, Oregon, for a single-vehicle crash.
After a brief investigation, Deputies determined the driver of a Jeep Cherokee, 22-year-old Anna M. Eichelberger of Mount Morris lost control of the vehicle, entered the west ditch, traveled into the corn field before traveling back through the ditch and onto the roadway.
Eichelberger was placed under arrest for Resisting a Police Officer. Eichelberger was transported to the Ogle County Jail and released on a Notice to Appear with a future court day. Eichelberger was additionally issued citations for No Insurance, Improper Lane Usage, Failure to Reduce Speed, and Driver Failure to Give Notice of an Accident.
The Mount Morris Police Department and the Oregon Fire Department assisted deputies.
