As warmer weather returns and more residents spend time outdoors, the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office reminds citizens that seasonal changes often bring a rise in criminal activity and traffic related incidents.
The Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office is increasing staffing levels and deploying more patrol units throughout the county. There would be an emphasis on crime prevention and traffic enforcement.
“Our goal is to stay ahead of seasonal trends and keep our communities safe,” said Sheriff John Booker. Residents in Whiteside County are encouraged to stay alert and watch out for one another. You are encouraged that if you see something, say something. Parents are urged to speak with their children about roadway safety.
