On Wednesday evening, June 11, Ogle County Deputies responded to the 5000 block of North German Church Road for a single motorcycle crash.
After an investigation, Deputies determined that the driver, 34-year-old John Simmons of Rockford was traveling northbound when he failed to negotiate a curve and lost control of his motorcycle, crashing into the east ditch.
Simmons sustained suspected minor injuries and was transported to Swedish American Hospital. No citations were issued because of the crash.
