John Day - 9am to 10am
John started in radio at the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a major in broadcasting. In December of 1992, John began announcing evenings at KRGI AM/FM in Grand Island Nebraska. John then moved from Grand Island and began a nine-year run at KXKT in Omaha, starting with overnights and eventually moving up to midday, Music Director and Assistant Program Director.
Sam Ramirez - 6am - 9am - weekdays
Sam began working at River Country 101.7 in July 1994 and became the the morning DJ on WRCV-River Country 101.7 in August 2007. He also serves as the radio station's Sports Director and Public Service Announcement director. His show is full of great music, of course, with great interviews and upcoming concert news, plus Sam gives away more stuff to his listeners on the air than any other local radio station, and we all know that Free stuff is always high on the list for radio listeners everywhere!
Jen Brown - 10am to 3pm
Jen started her radio career at KXKT and KOIL in Omaha as part of the morning show. Jen then landed at WOW AM/FM in doing middays, promotions and eventually becoming Asst. Program Director. Jen then co-hosted with Bently & Brown in the morning on KGOR, along with the promotions director title. Jen joined Waitt Radio Networks and River Country 101.7 in 2002 as midday host.
John Thomas - 3pm - 8pm
Prior to joining the network, John did mornings and served as Program Director at KYSL in Frisco, Colorado. Over the course of his 25 years in broadcasting, John has worked as a radio talk show host, a television news anchor/reporter, and an advertising sales manager and as a Program Director on several music formats. John joined Waitt Radio Networks and River Country 101.7 in 2002.
Prince Mayne - 8pm - 1am
As a native of San Francisco California, Prince started in radio in 1982 after serving his country in the US Navy, then working as a stablehand, horse-groom and as a trail-guide around the Chicago suburbs.He has since done quite of circuit with radio gigs in Rockford IL, Salinas/Monterey CA, Denton/Dallas TX, WCCQ Joliet/Chicago IL and most recently the KZ-Country Radio Network Columbus/Lincoln NE.
